Short Message Service

SMS is the short form of a telecommunication service in which text messeges are send from one cellular device to other. Generally a SMS contains 160 characters long messege. If messege contains more than 160 characters it is fractioned in different set of 160 characters messeges. Friedhelm Hillebrand and Bernard Ghillebaert are credited to invention of SMS service. They invented this service in 1984.
